Taiwan and Korea have been at the heart of the international ICT supply chain for decades and the ICT industry is key to their economic development. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the governments of Taiwan and Korea are actively pushing the development of smart cities. Governments and industry from both markets are therefore looking for partnerships, products and services to achieve the ambitious smart cities goals. A couple of Dutch companies is already active in this sector in Taiwan and Korea.
In this session specialists from our representative offices in Taiwan and Korea will update on recent trends, key stakeholders, events and ongoing cooperations with the Netherlands on smart cities. They will also highlight which sectors are particularly promising for Dutch entrepreneurs. This ranges from smart healthcare and smart mobility to green building and new energy. Dutch entrepreneurs already active in the Taiwanese and Korean market will share their experiences. The recently launched Dutch export program to Korea for Zero Energy Buildings (ZEB) will also be introduced.
